A rare Queen Anne Burr Walnut Bureau of extremely small proportions and good faded glowing colour and patina.
The shaped stepped interior fitted with small drawers, sliding well and pigeon holes. The drawer linings are made in Oak, two of the drawer backs have been replaced later in pine. On close inspection the veneer on one of the ends has been replaced although it now matches very well with the rest of the piece. The handles although not original have been fitted through the same holes as the originals. The lock to the fall front has a working Georgian key.

A rare and probably unique 17th Century Oak Bureau of superb colour, in remarkably original condition retaining the original turned knobs, escutcheons, hinges and lock to the fall. The drawer fronts and framework with applied mouldings. The deeply moulded applied base mould and feet are original. The interior is fitted with small drawers with an open well to the centre. The ends having an arrangement of fielded panels, the back is also paneled. The drawer linings are made in Oak, they are in good clean original condition. The fall and top unusually are overhanging and decorated with a thumb mould to the outer edge. The fall is also fitted with a reading rest. The Bureau is of particularly solid construction throughout.

A fine quality 18th Century solid Mahogany Bureau of small proportions and superb faded colour. In very good original condition with good clean oak linings, the handles appear to be original although have been re fixed, the feet are original. Made from fine quality cuban Mahogany and unusually having well made panelled back, the piece is remarkably heavy considering its small size.

A very attractive early 18th Century Walnut Bureau of good light honey colour with good shaped stepped interior and central door. Retaining the original handles and escutcheons apart from the bottom drawer where slightly different period handles have been fitted later. The ends would have originally been pine as many were, these have been veneered in Walnut many years ago to match the rest of the piece, the colour now matches very well, the work is of a high standard. The feet are replaced along with quite surprisingly the highly figured central door to the interior. The drawer linings are original throughout, in good condition and made in Oak. The little brass knobs to the interior are also original as are the pine back boards. The fall front has remained remarkably flat over the years and features matched veneers with feather and cross banding to the edge. There are working keys for the fall front and interior door.

A wonderful early 18th Century Oak Bureau of superb golden colour in impressive original condition with original handles, escutcheons, knobs to the interior and bracket feet. The linings are fabulously clean and original throughout. The interior is in immaculate condition and has a star inlaid into the central door which is flanked by split turned Mahogany Columns that pull out to reveal a thin drawer that has a secret locking device hidden in the drawer division. The other secret compartments are hidden behind the two drawers to the far left and right of the interior.
